Photo:Akita Prefecture

I went to travel to Akita Prefecture on consecutive holidays. The Tohoku region has fewer tourists than other regions, but it has beautiful nature and is perfect for traveling.

Kujukushima of Kisakata."Kujukushima" means 99 islands. In this area, the topography of the seabed was raised by the earthquake about 200 years ago.

Spring in the Tohoku region is slower than in Tokyo because it is a cold area. Therefore, cherry blossoms usually bloom from the end of April to the beginning of May.
